The Paulding County Hospital Foundation, incorporated in 1999 as an Ohio nonprofit corporation, is recognized under the Internal Revenue Code as a 501(c)(3) charity. The Foundation’s mission is “...to assist the hospital in improving the health and well-being of residents in our communities.”
One of the ways the Foundation has worked to improve the health of area residents has been to encourage county high school students to pursue a career in healthcare. Through 2016, the Foundation has awarded college scholarships to 62 seniors from Antwerp, Paulding and Wayne Trace high schools. Several of those scholarship recipients have returned to Paulding County Hospital.
For 17 years, the Foundation has held the annual Mark Teets Memorial Golf Outing as its primary fund raiser. Additional fund raisers are held from time to time, and tax deductible donations to further the Foundation’s mission are always accepted by the Paulding County Hospital Foundation, 1035 W. Wayne St., Paulding, Ohio 45879.
