Life doesn’t always go according to plan. That’s why we offer urgent care. It’s the perfect solution to care for your family when your primary care provider isn’t available, and the emergency room isn’t necessary.
Think of our urgent care department as an extension of your primary care provider’s office. If you would visit the doctor for your illness or minor injury, but your doctor isn’t available, urgent care is here for you.
Why choose urgent care?
Urgent care services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, even on holidays. Walk-ins are welcome, and no appointments are necessary. The urgent care department at Paulding County Hospital has emergency physicians, nurses and healthcare professionals ready to care for you and connect you with any hospital services that might be needed.
Cost & Insurance Details
If you use urgent care, you will receive two bills: one from the physician and one from the hospital. Typically, urgent care is less expensive than an emergency room visit. Your actual charges will be determined by the nature of your visit and any diagnostic testing that may be performed. Most insurance companies will cover all or part of your urgent care visit. Check with your provider for details.
